My first giveaway

The first five people to comment on this post will get something hand-made by me.

Before you all rush down and click on the COMMENTS link, this offer does have some restrictions and limitations so please read carefully:
  • The offer is only open to commenters I have either 1) never met in person, or 2) who have never commented here before.
  • I make no guarantees that you will like what I make.
  • What I create will be just for you.
  • It'll be done this year (2009).
  • You have no clue what it's going to be. Neither do I actually. Could be a paper cutting, sewn item, drawing...who knows!
  • I reserve the right to do something extremely strange.

I must confess that I am stealing this idea from a note I saw on Facebook and my motivation is purely to encourage more of you to leave comments. Thanks to Google Analytics, I know people from all around the world read my blog (shout out to my readers in Spain, Brazil, and the US), but I never get to hear from them since they don't leave comments.

This could either fail miserably or be very, very cool.

So step right up...don't be shy...please leave a comment...and win a prize!

  2. Ok - I qualify! I've been lurking here for months but have never commented. And I also love your cooking blog. What a great way to organize your recipes. Are you scanning them in or typing? I'm thinking about doing the same thing but the thought of all that typing is stopping me so far.

  3. Ok, I'm leaving a comment. Hehe. On another note, my daughter calls me Momma. Not Mummy, or Mum, but Momma. I like that, it's different. Special.
